The views and skies stay with me and although I like to sit with the sun on my face under clear blue skies. I love to see more 'interesting' skies. I adore sunsets, but the glow and colours are difficult to capture even with a camera. I also like stormy skies, their broodiness and the way the sun peaks through or the clouds fly past.
This artwork reminds me of views of the Essex coast. Slightly muddy and difficult to see into the distance, but always some plucky souls out sailing.
