Leaves and Shadows

Again with the autumnal, this time leaves again from my sketchbook. Notice the shadows compared to the pine cone in my previous post; these have more depth. The shadows where they are slightly apart from the stem of the leaf make the stem to be above the surface. The greener leaf on the left is in soft pastel, the other two in watercolour.
