Backgrounds

I have been asked a few times why I don't use white backgrounds for the float mounted collages. I suspect people think it would make them more neutral and easier to fit with decor.

I take great care choosing the right colour background to show the artwork to its best. Sometimes a white background is fine, often it will make the collage look insipid. This post will hopefully show you why.
